  • Yes. Our supplier located in Canada works directly with the growers and the distilleries and make sure all of the oils are chemical and pesticides free. Now they are working on getting those growers to be USDA organic certified.

Because Canyon Zen is not certified, as per the regulation of the USDA, we can only make mention in the ingredients and no logo can be visible on the front of the bottle. To be certified is very expensive for the reason there are only a handful of agents who can do the certifications, and only a couple overseas. With that say, for Canyon Zen to be certified, we will have to pay for the agent travel/lodging and meals (which is normal and everyone is subjected to the same rules). Plus, the fee to be certified varies by agent, why more and more growers follow organic practices but are not certified, at the end that cost has to be counted in the price of the products sold, therefore making the oils more expensive and costing you more.

  • Yes they are! Our supplier is located in Canada and works directly with the growers/distilleries. When they receive the oils they do a GC/MS - gas chromatography, mass spectrometry analysis on their batch of oil, to make sure you get 100% pure oils.

All of our essential oils are:

    • 100% pure and natural

    • Unadulterated

    • GMO-free

    • Free of chemicals and pesticides

    • Ethically sourced

    • Cruelty free

    • Kosher and vegan.

Gas chromatography is a technique that provides a fingerprint of the oil which can reveal additives, while a mass spectrometry measures the presence and quantity of chemical constituents that give essential oils their therapeutic benefits.

Our essential oils selection is from around the world, where plants, herbs, trees can thrive at their best to provide their amazing essential oils.

  • Yes and we are proud of our products. Building a brand name takes time and quality matters and making our customers happy with their products is of upmost importance. We found very good suppliers that make very good quality diffusers and prior to shipping they do test each diffuser.

When Canyon Zen receives the diffusers, we test each and every single one of them to make sure they are working and they are not leaking water. We want to make sure you get quality products, you can enjoy worry-free. In the event something happens, we are always here to assist you, at Canyon Zen we take great care of our customers.

When we want to add new diffusers, we order few for testing and we also take them apart to make sure the diffusers are of quality. If the quality is not to our satisfaction, you will never see the diffuser in out store. You can read more about it by visiting “About Canyon Zen”.

  • No we do not, for economic reasons and customer preferences. In a 10 ml roll on bottles most of it is carrier oil with only 10-12 drops of essential oils. Depending on the essential oil in the roll on, it can cost the same as buying a full 10 ml essential oil bottle. Plus, the carrier oil, like Jojoba, Sweet Almond, may not be the one to use for your skin type.

So, it is better for your preference and your wallet to buy the essential oil you need and use the correct carrier oil for your skin type.

  • The essential oil bottle we sell is 10 ml, which contains about 230-250 drops (depending on the dropper). The only exception is the sampler pack which has 2 ml bottles. And with every order, you get a free 5 ml essential oil of your choice.

Diffuser FAQs

  • It can happen if the air is already humid and the air circulation is poor. For the Humidity, recycle the air by opening doors and windows, as long as the outside air is not humid. If you have rain coming, the humidity in the room can increase and will create condensation on top of the diffuser.

  • When you used it previously, there may have been too much oil in the water which is now sticking onto the piezoelectric transducer, which is the disc that creates the mist. Or, if you have used the diffuser few times, the transducer can get dirty. The solution is to empty the diffuser, if you already have water and oil inside, safe it, do not waste it. Then, using rubbing alcohol and a cotton swab gently clean the transducer. The issue can also happen if you use non-distilled water or water that has too much minerals which will deposit onto the piezoelectric transducer. If that is the case use white vinegar to break down the mineral by letting the vinegar seat onto the transducer for few minutes. Pour the vinegar out, and clean it with some rubbing alcohol. Another reason is the diffuser was moved when water was inside, or the lid opened, and some water got inside. In which case, unplug the diffuser, empty the water, and let it try for 2 to 3 days, then try again. If the diffuser is still turning off, the adapter may have become faulty.

  • If you have a remote control for the diffuser, make sure you have no other devices around that can interfere with it. If you can, try the diffuser in a different room to see if it stops. Regardless if you have a remote for the diffuser or not, if you have water that got inside the unit, it can malfunction. In that case, unplug the diffuser, empty the tank and let it dry for at least 3 days, then try again. When your diffuser is working, water splashes inside, and if the lid gets open and close without been dried, that water can get in by the air outlet.

  • Make sure the water is clean and there are no objects blocking the mist from coming out of the unit. Also, the diffusers have a lifespan between 3,000 hours and 5,000 hours. The lifespan is dictated by the piezoelectric transducer, which is the disc that creates the mist. To test it, remove the lid of the diffuser, add a little water onto the transducer and turn on the unit. If there is no mist and the water is not splashing around, the transducer needs replacement. If you see the mist, it can be the fan is not pushing the air out and might need replacement. Can you hear the fan? Does the fan make a strange grinding sound? If yes, it needs to be replaced. We do sell the replacement parts for your diffuser at a very affordable cost, so you do not have to buy a new unit.

  • Yes you can! That’s what we do with ours. You won’t be able to remove the entire oil aroma scent from the pad, there will be a faint scent left depending on the oil that was used. To clean the pad, do half white vinegar and half water. Let the pad soak for about 1 hour, after which you rinse it under clean water. Soak the pad in an unscented soap and water for few minutes to remove the vinegar scent. Rinse it under clean water. Dry it using a paper towel. Ready to be used again! You can continue to reuse the pads and wash them until it starts to deteriorate and which point you need to replace them. We sell them at a very affordable cost.

  • As long at the diffuser turns on, yes we can help. Most time the fan and/or the piezoelectric transducer, which is the disc that creates the mist, need replacement. We can fix it for you, or if you feel confident we can ship the parts to you. If you have to replace a fan, some diffusers have a reverse polarity, and at Canyon Zen we created an easy way for you to switch the polarities, in the middle of the fan wiring, you have a plug that you can unplug to switch the polarity.

  • If you have multiple diffusers using the same app, each diffuser can be seen by the phone as a different Bluetooth connection. In your phone go to the Bluetooth section, and look for devices that are nearby but not connected, sometimes it is under a section called “Other devices”, and look for Aromamusic, click on it and it should connect.
